I am looking for relatives of Charles Cronkite BROTHERTON married to Sarah A (Smith) BROTHERTON, buried at Neeper Cemetery. They had 5 sons and an adopted daughter and they raised two boys Stiles and Edward Sing. Their children were: Adline (adopted girl), Silas C. (served in the Civil War and died), Lewis Smith (my great great grandfather), John Able, Charles C., Joshua Freshwater. Lewis Smith BROTHERTON married Florence Ann (Lionberger), these are their children: Charles Emanuel, Lewis Edmond (my great grandfather), Nettie Ann (Annie) Mary Belle, Walter James, George Washington, Goldie Lillian. Lewis Edmond BROTHERTON married Effie Maude BEARD, they had 2 children Loyd BROTHERTON and Ora BROTHERTON (my grandmother). Ora (BROTHERTON) GATES married David Esla GATES. They had 4 children, Ralph, Evelyn, Margie (my mother)and Roland Gates. My mom's sister Evelyn (Gates) Schreiber has completed a book entitled "Rambling Thoughts of Evelyn Schreiber" which I have edited and put together with the history I know with her memoirs.
