I am searching for the family of George Edward BURKETT and his wife Bessie Blanche (KERFOOT) BURKETT. Bessie, was born about. 1894 in Williamstown, MO. They had three sons, Virgil b. about 1913, Leonard about 1915 and Hubert BURKETT about. 1917. All born in Wyaconda, MO. I believe the family lived there until sometime in the 1920's, when they moved to Boise, Idaho. In the 1940's, a Roy BURKETT (believed to be a family member) was residing in Wyaconda. I am very anxious to learn more about this family. Margaret Bence Davis SAGEMOM@webtv.net

I am researching an ancestor named Jesse WALKER born 1835 in Morgan County, IN who married Susan WHITE of Lee County IA on April 22, 1858 in Clark County, MO. Jesse is related to Chief Keokuk somehow (perhaps son, grandson or son-in-law). They were married by John Bobbit (Justice of the Peace) who filed for record on May 14 1858 in Clark County, MO. William Henry WALKER would have been a son of theirs born May 29, 1862 probably in Lee County, IA, but after Jesse's death Oct 27, 1862, he went with his mother to stay with her (I think) sister and brother-in-law Thomas and Linda KERR who were somewhere in Clark Co, MO. From there he was farmed out at 5 years old to Ralph STUART's family in Peaksville before moving to Kansas with them to homestead. His mother Susan (WHITE) WALKER may also have had a brother named Sam WHITE (wife named Sarah) . Also there may have been a Sarah WHITE sister who married John MACKLIN on the same date and by the same person as Jesse and Susan were married. William Henry WALKER, son of Jesse WALKER, was married to an Ethel JOHNSON perhaps somewhere in the area. He may have had other siblings including a sister named Hattie. Any info would be greatly appreciated! Scott Gaw iam@webtv.net

Researching the following BLINCO/BLINCOE and HUMPHERY surnames in Clark and surrounding counties.
I descend from Benjamin Philip BLINCO/BLINCOE, William Philip BLINCO/BLINCOE, Ruth Dade (BLINCO/BLINCOE) UHT, George Walker UHT, to me, Ricky Lynn UHT.
Benjamin BLINCO/BLINCOE b. May 1833 in Kentucky, m. Lucinda MITCHELL, m. Elizabeth ?, d. ?after 1900 in ?Clark County, Missouri, unknown where they were buried. I believe Benjamin moved to Clark County, Missouri as I find mention on Ancestry.com of a Benjamin BLINCA on 1850 Census 19th District; a B. P. BLINCO on 1860 Census Des Moines Twp., and a William S. BLINKE on 1860 Census Union Twp. I believe Benjamin's wife or one of his wives to have been Lucinda MITCHELL. Benjamin had at least two children, William Philip BLINCOE and Sadie D. BLINCOE.
I know that William Philip BLINCOE married Elmira Maria HUMPHREY before 1887 ? Clark Co., MO and several of their children were born in Clark County around Gregory and Wayland. Some of this family moved to area around Steffenville, Lewis County, Missouri after 1900. William Philip and Elmira are buried at Steffenville Cemetery.
Elmira Maria (HUMPHERY) BLINCOE was the daughter of William and Mary Elizabeth HUMPHREY. Elmira's mother is buried at Kahoka, Clark Co., MO. Elmira had the following siblings: Edwin, James Harvey (m. Sadie D. BLINCOE, William Philip BLINCOE's sister), John, Nellie (m. Ott JACKSON), Pearson C., Jessie, Effie, and Alta HUMPHREY (m. Charles TOWNSEND). The only thing I've found for Scotland County on Blinco(e) is land patent information from the Bureau of Land Management site. Benjamin BLINCO
