Looking for family of Aaron BECHTOL (b. PA c1855) who was in Clark Co. census 1880 with wife Kathryn [BITTING] BECHTOL and a few of their many children. Aaron had brothers Charles Edward BECHTEL, (b. PA 1862) and Samuel Philip BECHTOL (b. PA 1861), along with another unknown. The families show up later in Scotland and Adair counties. Any Clark Co. info would be most appreciated. I am looking for information on the family of George W. BAUGHER Sr. and his wife Mary Ann (WALLINGROED). They are my Gr Grandparents. Their son George W. BAUGHER Jr. was my Grandfather. George Sr and Mary Ann had a son James M. who married a Bertie Agnes GRAY. James was born Nov 11, 1872 and a daughter Rosanna S. BAUGHER b:Dec 26, 1880 and Emma D. B:1900. There may have been other siblings but I have not found them. I would really like to find any info on these Baugher children. I am looking for information on John J. HENDRICKS, born 1793 in Virginia. He married Margaret Helen SHANNON. They had 13 children, among them: Joseph HENDRICKS, Sarah HENDRICKS, Ancil HENDRICKS, Henry HENDRICKS, Isabelle HENDRICKS, John HENDRICKS, Laguina HENDRICKS, William HENDRICKS, and youngest Albert Edwin HENDRICKS. John J. HENDRICKS lived in Vernon Township, Alexandria, Clark County in 1860. What happened to him after 1860? I would like information on any descendants. On 16 Oct 1862, George HANSLOW married Elizabeth (SHANNON) in Clark County, MO. Is she the daughter of Elizabeth (SMITH) by her first husband, James M. SHANNON? What happened to her? George HANSLOW later married Catherine (EVANS) COMBS in Clark County. Elizabeth's mother, Elizabeth (SMITH) SHANNON married John C. EAST after death of her first husband. Seeking ancestors of my great-grandparents, William FRANKLIN and Phoebe Ann SHAW. Youngest child, my grandmother Baby Jane (Jennie) (SHAW) BENNETT born 1867, and Phoebe died four years later. Other Shaw children married JOHNSON, KIGER, BENNETT. Shaw Girls of near Alexandria were daughters of George SHAW, the youngest son. I think Grandma told me the Grays were cousins. Rice OVERSTREET and his wife Elizabeth THOMPSON moved to Clark Co Mo in the 1830 - 1850 timeframe. The came from Jessamine Co Ky. I have info on Elizabeth's parents but not Rice's. Any information on Rice and his descendents would be appreciated.

Searching for data on Martha Elizabeth BUTCHER, b. VA. She m. Pickering Strong STANLEY (b. Danvers, Mass., 30 July, 1812, came to Clark Co., MO 1834, m. Kahoka, Clark Co. 1848. He d. 1883, Wayland; resided mostly St. Francisville.) They are buried Oak Hill Cem. near Wayland. Martha Eliz. had brother John BUTCHER, enlisted St.Francisville, Union Army, lived for a time DeSoto, MO. Near STANLEY/BUTCHER plot at Oak HilL Cem (formerly called Crow Cem.), is one James Butcher, Martha Elizabeth's father?? Would appreciate any background info on Martha Eliz.(BUTCHER) STANLEY. I am looking for any information about the CLIFTON family living in Clark County, MO about (1840-1880). Wyatt CLIFTON moved his family there from Iowa. His son, Wyatt CLIFTON, Jr. was raised in Clark County and started a family there. After 1870 he moved to Mercer County, MO. I believe Wyatt CLIFTON, Jr. was married to Frances (??).
