Seeking descendants of Reuben KELLY. He died in Clark Co. in the 1860's. He had two wives, Charity (MARTIN) KELLY and Sarah (MEADOWS) KELLY. Estate papers mention his will, but it seems to have been misfiled.

I would like to find any records of my Mother's, Clara (??) BRIDGEMAN birth. She was born in Alexandria, Clark County, MO. My birth certificate said she was 34 when I was born in May 1930, so she would have been born in 1898 or it could be a year either way. I was placed with my brothers and sisters in the Davenport, IA when I was only 5, so I have no records at all on my family. Any help you can give me will be greatly appreciated. I'm getting back to the pioneer days of Clark County in my research so I thought that somebody might have some information in a county history book. I've got a John WOOD and Malinda (or Harriett, conflicting data) (WEBER) WOOD. Both of whom were born in Kentucky and moved to Clark County, Washington Township, in the early 1830's. They had a son named Stephen Riley WOOD (1830-1911) along the way in Illinois. I stongly believe that the senior Stephen WOOD either died along the way or shortly after reaching Clark County. Thanks for any help. -Garrett Johnson
