I am researching the family of BARROWS, COOK, CRANDALL, OWEN(S), STEWART and WILSON in Clark County. Levi Henry BARROWS (1843-1925), son of Guy BARROWS (1806-1847) and Elvira (STEWART) BARROWS (ca. 1820-1905) came to Clark County Missouri in the early 1850s with his mother and his brother George Benair BARROWS. His grandfather Levi STEWART (1796-after 1860) also came at the same time. I would like a death date and burial place for Levi STEWART. I have lots to share on the Stewart family. Levi BARROWS was a veteran of the Civil War and he married Clarissa A. CRANDALL (1846-1924) who was born in Ontario Canada. She was the daughter of Joseph A. CRANDALL (1809-after 1875) and Mary (YOUNG) CRANDALL. Joseph CRANDALL was a naturalized American citizen and he fought with Col. David Moore in the Civil War. I am interested in anything I can find on the Crandall family. Levi's son Thara A. BARROWS married Luella (COOK) BARROWS (1868-1944) , daughter of Lemuel COOK (1846-1917) and Georetta Glass (WILSON) COOK (1846-1899). I would like more information on the COOK family. Lemuel COOK was the son of Joseph COOK (1809-1881) and Melvina (UNDERWOOD) COOK (ca. 1812-?). The COOK family after moving to Caldwell County Missouri from North Carolina in the 1840s seem to have been in and out of Clark County depending on the year. Lemuel was buried at Crowley Cemetery in Rayville, but he resided near Kahoka and also Palo Missouri, Seemed to move around quite a bit. After Georetta's death he married Mrs. Jane AMOTE. He is supposed to have attended school at Union. I would like to know more about the Cook family and was Lemuel in the Civil War. Georetta Glass WILSON was the daughter of Granville WILSON (1806-1862) and Parmelia (OWEN) WILSON (1823-1902). I have some information to share on the WILSON family. Granville was the son of Robert WILSON and Georetta (GLASS) WILSON. Granville WILSON and siblings along with father Robert WILSON came to Missouri from Kentucky before 1840 and lived in Union Township Clark County Missouri. Granville married Parmelia OWEN in Scotland County Missouri. Parmelia remarried to a SMITH sometime after Granville's death. Parmelia OWEN was the granddaughter of Dorcas (LEE) Whittington MUSGROVE (1768-1840). I believe she was raised by the MUSGROVE family. She was the daughter of Mary WHITTINGTON (1793-1829) and Albert OWEN (1792-?). Any information on the LEE, WHITTINGTON, or OWEN family would be very much appreciated. Gilbert MUSGROVE and Dorcas, his wife are buried in Cowgill Cemetery in Clark County Missouri. The MUSGROVE family was very prominent in Clark County. Have quite a bit of information on the MUSGROVE family. The OWEN and LEE family are a big mystery to me. Help! Karen Jarvis karenj@kdsi.net

Does anyone have any information on Charles COOPER (wife: Betsy) found in 1860 Clark County census? I have found him in Schuyler County (1850 census), in Putnam County (1870 census), and again in Schuyler County (1880 census). I don't know where in northeast Missouri he ended up.
