Stephen Thatcher BORDEN born 9 March 1806 Rhode Island. Married Nancy Jane (BARNES) BORDEN 20 October 1832 in Holmes Co., Ohio. Stephen Thatcher BORDEN came to Clark Co., Missouri from Holmes Co., Ohio. He died intestate 13 July 1888 in Clark Co., Missouri and is buried there. His wife died 10 December 1871 in Clark Co., Missouri and is buried there. Known children: Thomas L. BORDEN; Sarah Frances BORDEN; Reason BORDEN; and Matilda BORDEN. Would like name of cemetery they are buried in. Would like copies of obituaries, if any exist. Any information on Stephen Thatcher BORDEN would be greatly appreciated.

I am hoping that someone will not mind doing a lookup for me for a death certificate for Joseph CLARK who died on 1 Nov 1905 in Kahoka, Clark County, Mo. An obituary would be great, too, if one exists. We are trying to establish the names of Joseph Clark's parents. We know his mother's first name was Sarah, though. Mr. CLARK was born in Ohio, and then moved on as a child first to Illinois, and then to Iowa before coming to Clark County, Missouri. His father's identity in particular has stumped more than one generation of researchers in this family. Thanks in advance to anyone who may try to do the lookup. Gloria Baikauskas
