The 1850 Clark Co. Census lists Richard D. PHILLIPS, age 65, (b. VA); Mary PHILLIPS, age 61 (b. VA), and Julia PHILLIPS, age 19 (b. KY). Mary & Julia were living with Ephraim WARNER & wife Harriett Phillips WARNER while Richard was living close by with E. F. GREENLEAF and his wife Mary C. (whom I think might have been a Phillips also). Any information would be of help. I am at a brick wall and think Richard & Mary might be my g.g.g.grandparent.
SOME INFORMATION:1. E. F. Greenleaf and Mary C. were not listed in the marriage records for the time period 1836 - 1865. Two different Greenleaf family were in Clark County. One family arrived before 1836 and the other 1848, both family are from Maine. I could not find a marriage between Greenleaf and Phillips.

Looking for Maranda STEWART, born 7 May 1834, possibly in Ohio. She married William W. BRYAN about 1859. His father was Nicholas BRYAN from Van Buren County, Iowa. Maranda and William BRYAN are on the 1860 and 1870 Scotland County, Mo. censuses. On the 1870 census Jane BRYAN is shown living with them and R.E. STEWART and wife Caroline. Has anyone heard of these Stewarts?
