Cooper County Newspapers on Microfilm This is a listing of the "Missouri Newspapers on Microfilm at the State Historical Society of Missouri" for Cooper County, Missouri. The one question that is asked more frequently than even questions on cemeteries is "Where can I find an obituary of ..." So here is that listing and you may check the State Historical Society of Missouri's web site for further informaton. The Cooper County Historical Society has a large number of these microfilmed newspapers at their office in Pilot Grove, Missouri. Additionally, the Friends of Historic Boonville have some of the original bound volumes of the Cooper County Record and its predecesor. Finally the Boonville Daily News has all of their publications in bound volumes. | |
