There was Anna (who married David Wheeler) Daniel, George & Lewis H. Dorn. They were in Jasper county as early as 1880 or maybe before.
Anthony & Clarinda Shreckengaust came to the county shortly after 1870. They lived in Preston Twp.
My husband is a Great Grandson to David & Anne (Dorn) Wheeler. Also Anthony & Clarinda (Shimp) Shreckengaust.
