Sep. 1, 2023 , Benton Co., AR |
Research Note: Son of Opal Webb Tate and JT Webb. Survivors include two daughters; two granchildren; and his dear friend and cousin. Roy grew up in the scenic landscapes of Arkansas, where his love for nature blossomed. He had an innate connection with the outdoors, finding solace and joy in the tranquil beauty of the Ozarks. Roy's enthusiasm for fishing was infectious, and he could often be found casting his line into the clear waters of local lakes and rivers or passing down his angling wisdom to his children and friends. Roy Edward Webb's presence in the Pea Ridge community will be sorely missed. His commitment to preserving the beauty of the Arkansas wilderness and instilling a love for the outdoors in others will be a lasting tribute to his memory. In this time of grief, let us remember the joy and passion that Roy brought to our lives. He leaves behind a legacy of love for family, nature, and the simple pleasures of life. Roy's spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him. His journey on this Earth may have come to an end, but his love for the great outdoors and the memories he created will forever remain etched in our hearts. May he rest in peace, surrounded by the serene beauty of nature he so dearly cherished. Burial in Twelve Corners Cemetery, Pea Ridge, Benton, AR. | Sisco Funeral Home L. Pearce Findagrave |

WILLIAMS, Barbara Ann (MRAZEK) | Dec. 13, 1934 St. Louis, MO |
Oct. 23, 2010 Aurora Care Center, Aurora, Lawrence Co., MO |
Research Note: She was the daughter of Lloyd and Mary Lou (Horras) Mrazek, who preceded her in death. A mother of two and then an independent woman working as a real estate agent by day and waitress by night, Barbara built a house on an acreage outside of Shell Knob, Missouri in partnership with her companion Darryl. In 1996, Barbara became involved with the Haven of the Ozarks Animal Sanctuary, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping stray, abused and abandoned dogs and cats. Her dedication to the Haven dogs and cats inspired, and continues to inspire many people. Selflessness and compassion are words that fall short when it comes to describing that characteristic that drove Barbara to volunteer six days (sometimes seven) each week, through holidays, adverse weather, fatigue or illness. Stubbornness is the only word that comes close to capturing the toughness and unyielding resolve needed to work for so many years as a Haven volunteer. It is impossible to measure or understand the difference Barbara made to the hundreds of dogs and cats she cared for over the years. For many she was not only a care-taker and friend, but also a witness. The witnessing of so many lives and deaths is an act of love and a legacy that those who knew Barbara will be learning from and following for years to come. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, October 30, 2010, in Fohn Funeral Home, Shell Knob, Missouri. | Fohn Funeral Home Phyllis Long |

During his years in Neosho, Dave received numerous awards and accolades for service to his community including Citizen of the Year in 2006. He served as President of the Neosho R-V School District's Charitable Foundation and was Cofounder of the Newton County Food Basket Brigade. In 2014 he was inducted into the Missouri Southern State University Media Hall of Fame. He truly loved his work in broadcasting. After selling the stations, Dave accepted the Vice President of Marketing position at Community Bank and Trust in Neosho where he worked until retirement in 2014. Dave married Cheryl Rabe in 1991 and together they built a beautiful life together. They both loved nature, boating, reading, live theater and traveling. And travel they did -- all over Europe, China, Russia, South America, Iceland and many other places. Together, they built two homes - the first on beautiful Indian Creek near Neosho where they would canoe and swim every possible weekend. 20 years later, they then built on the waterfront at Table Rock Lake. With their beloved pontoon boat, they sailed to every corner of the lake. Dave had a saying; "If you are lucky enough to live on the lake, you are lucky enough." He is preceded in death by his parents Lawrence and Barbara Branham Winegardner.
