Also preceding her in death were her parents. Surviving are two sons; two daughters; three brothers; ten sisters; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Rosie attended school in Elcho, Wisconsin, graduating from Elcho High School. After moving to Monett, MO in 1995 she had worked at Tyson Foods and was currently employed by George's Incorporated. He was the son of James Marshall Echols, Jr. and Lillie Pauline (Smith) Echols. On July 14, 1968, in Nettleton, Missouri, he was united in marriage to Velma Pauline Pilant. Preceding him in death were his parents; one brother, William Paul "Bill" Echols; one granddaughter, Diane Marie Vergara and a son-in-law, Thomas Ciancio. Jim, as most people knew him, moved to Colorado at a young age. He graduated from high school in Boulder, Colorado and received his Bachelor's Degree in Education. He received his Master's Degree in Theology from Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar, Missouri. Much of his life was spent in Colorado, moving from Denver to Shell Knob, Missouri in 2005. He was a 1953 graduate of Dalhart High School in Dalhart, Texas. On May 30, 1954, he was united in marriage to Virginia Thompson in Dalhart. In 1967 Jim and his family moved to Cassville to make their home, where he owned and operated Jim's Floor Coverings for thirty years before retiring in 1995. EDWARDS, Jerry Don	Feb. 10, 1956 Amarillo, TX	Apr. 4, 2006 At Home, Shell Knob, Barry Co., MO	Research Note: He was the son of Charles Leslie and Molly Sue (Edmonds) Edwards. On March 25, 1977, in Page, Ariz., he was united in marriage to Phyllis Arlene Miller. He was preceded in death by his father, one brother and grandparents. He graduated from high school in Canyon, Texas, and moved to Page, Ariz., after meeting Phyllis. He loved music and played the drums in numerous bands. He was a machinist at Salt River Project, Navajo Generating Station in Page until 1997, when he and his family moved to Shell Knob where he owned and managed the Big Bobber Resort and Campground. Phyllis and Jerry now own Campbell Point Boat and RV Storage. He worked construction with Ron Boswell building and repairing houses in the Shell Knob area. He attended Grace Community Fellowship and Lohmer Full Gospel in Shell Knob. One of his favorite classes while in high school was Drama. For several years he was employed as a lead man at Fasco. He was married to Deborah Ellis and raised their daughter Sabrina and cared for several children throughout his lifetime. Eddie was a lifelong musician. Contracting polio as a toddler, horses became an appendage for him. Most of his life was spent on horseback, which gave him intimate knowledge and relationships with horses. Thomas Ivon Elliott Jr., age 84, of Cassville, Missouri, passed away March 6, 2021, from complications of a fall at his home. He was the son of Thomas and Nadine (Newman) Elliott. He was united in marriage to DeVora (Palmquist) Elliott on August 6, 1976; she preceded him in death on July 30, 2017. Tom owned and operated V-Dub Unlimited in Wichita, Kansas. Tom was a Volkswagen guru and a dune buggy and bicycle enthusiast. Tom also was a member of the Cassville Cruisers. Tom was also preceded in death by his parents, and sister Jodine Elwick. He married Debby Burns on May 12, 1970 in Williamstown, Massachusetts. Preceding him in death were his mother and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Dave attended Lewistown High School in Lewistown, Illinois, where he lettered in many sports and was president of his class. He graduated in 1965. He resided in Joplin, Missouri with his wife and son before relocating to the farm in Jenkins, Missouri in 1984. He owned and operated the Cedar Crest Lumberyard for many years. He enjoyed following and supporting local high school basketball, including radio commentary for games. Dave never lost his Illinois roots, and visited friends and family there as often as he could. He was the son of Raymond and Alvina (Johnson) Erickson. He was united in marriage to Nancy Gail Smith on May 21, 1947, in Des Moines, Iowa. Mr. Erickson served in United States Air Force from as a Radar Technician with the P61 Night Fighter Squadron and was stationed in Japan at the end of World War II following his military discharge. Mr. Erickson worked various jobs including Williams Supply Hardware in Minnesota, real estate and home remodeling in Minnesota, Texas, and Missouri. He attended Trinity Presbyterian Church in Shell Knob, where he was a church elder. Mr. Erickson was also a member of the Lions Club and a Community Building Board member. Also preceding her in death were her parents and one sister. Edith grew up and received her education in Chicago where she graduated from high school. In 1978 she and Chet moved from Chicago to Shell Knob. She was a member of Viola Baptist Church, where she played the piano and taught Sunday School. Some of her favorite pastimes were collecting penguins, diamond paintings, and playing various video, board and card games. On November 21, 1954, in Coffeyville, Kansas, he was united in marriage to Patricia Marie Mayfield. Bill was preceded in death by his parents and four brothers. He graduated from Field Kindley High School, Coffeyville, Kansas, after which he served his country in the United States Navy during the Korean War. Upon returning he continued on to Pittsburg State University in Pittsburg, Kansas, where he received his BS degree in mathematics. He was a member of the swim team in both high school and college. He worked for Western Electric as a supervisor and department chief in St. Louis, Missouri and also in North Carolina before retiring in 1983. He attended Wichita and Maize public schools, served in the US Army, then worked for Leer Jet in Wichita, Kansas; Frisco Railroad in Springfield, Missouri; and then Conoco-Phillips in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. He retired in 2009 and moved with his wife Jan to Shell Knob, Missouri, where he drove a school bus for Shell Knob Schools and was a volunteer fire fighter and first responder for Central Crossing Fire District in his retirement. He was pre-deceased by his parents, one brother, and two grandchildren: Kendall Curtis (KC) Evans and Lacy Renee Johnston. Karen was an active collegiate and alumni member of Zeta Tau Alpha serving on their Sigma chapter house corporation board in the 1980's. She received her white violet 50-year pin from Zeta in May of 1991. Karen received her Masters of Business Administration from Baker University in 1988. In addition to bachelor's and master's degrees Karen graduated from the Harvard University Summer Session Graduate School of Education, MLE Management of Life Long Learning. Karen worked for Mid Continent Council of Girls Scouts from 1969 - 1980 in Kansas City, Missouri as a Field Director and then for Rockhurst University as the Director of American Humanics and the first Director of Service learning from 1981 - 1998. Karen was an honorary member of Alpha Sigma Nu, a Jesuit Academic Honor Society at Rockhurst University. Karen and her husband Harrold lived for 35 years in Overland Park, Kansas and retired to Table Rock Lake in Golden, Missouri in 1998. San Antonio Jr. College and Chafee College receiving his Associate Degree. From 1960 until 1962 he served in the United States Army. After that Dennis went into Army intelligence in 1973 and left honorably in 1988. In 1992, Dennis met his wife, Shannon and married in 1996 and spent 25 years of raising 8 children from each previous marriages. Dennis was predeceased by his parents, Arlie and Sally Farr; ex-wife, Valerie Zeno and a daughter-in-law, Christina Farr. He was the son of Luther and Elsie (Simpson) Faulkner. He grew up and received his education and graduated in 1942 from high school in Slaton, Texas. After high school, Mr. Faulkner enlisted in the United States Air Force and honorably served his country in Okinawa, Japan after the bombing of Pearl Harbor. After his discharge he attended Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas. He graduated with a degree in Business in 1950. On April 7, 1950 he was united in marriage to Jean Hogan in Lubbock, Texas. She preceded him in death on November 29, 1988. He started his career as a sales manager for Western Auto for six years, then in 1956 they relocated in Ulysses, Kansas and he was the co-founder of Ulysses Irrigation Pipe Company. He resided in Ulysses until he moved to the Shell Knob community over 20 years ago. He later in life remarried, Lucille Johnston, in Shell Knob, Missouri. Chloe Marie Fellwock, 4 years of age, went to be with Jesus Saturday, March 23, 2013 at 7:15 AM. Chloe was at home, resting in her Mama's arms and with her Daddy by her side. During her three month battle with brain cancer, Chloe was exceptionally brave and courageous. Even though Chloe lost her ability to enjoy her favorite activities, she never complained about her illness. Having almost three more months with Chloe than originally expected, giving her family more time to make memories, has been a treasured blessing. During the Vietnam War he served in the United States Air Force. After his service he attended the Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kirksville, Missouri where he received his Doctorate Degree. He served his residency in Flint, Michigan and practiced in Farmington, Missouri before starting his Cassville practice in 1985. After closing his practice in Cassville he worked at the VA Hospital in Fayetteville, Arkansas until his retirement. While at MU he was a member of Delta Upsilon Fraternity. She was awarded the EPA4-State Region Teacher of the Year, as well as the Missouri Soil and Conservation Teacher of the Year. Karen was the creator and presenter of Aunt LuLu Enviromental Queen of the Planet program. She was an avid art and music lover, performing at the Art Fest Show in Springfield for over 10 years. She graduated from Drury college with a B.A. while being a member of the Phi Eta Sigma Honor Society, the National Honor Society in Psychology and received an Achievement Award in Sociology. She graduated Magna Cum Laud from Western Kentucky University with a Master of Arts. While teaching, she attended Southern Illinois University working on her PhD She was also featured in Who's Who of the Midwest. After graduating from Exeter High School in 1967, Terry went on to enlist in the United States Army. Serving as a machinist while stationed in Germany, Terry would eventually leave his military career to help his beloved father on the family farm. A testament to his great love of fishing, Terry then worked for Roaring River State Park for 26 fulfilling years as a Fishery Assistant. He was a Marine veteran of World War II and a member of the Singing Marine Corps 8-Balls. He was retired from his insurance agency in Alamosa, Colorado, where he lived for 15 years, and had lived in Shell Knob the past 23 years. He was past commander of the Veterans of Foreign Wars post and the American Legion post, both in Alamosa, Colorado, and was also a member and past Elk of the Year in Alamosa, Colorado. He married Betty Woods on September 12, 1944, in Denver, Colorado. FULTON, Jerauld Reames	Mar. 18, 1916 New Virginia, IA	Jan. 12, 2012	Research Note: Shell Knob, Barry Co., MO resident. Son of Ray W. Fulton and Gertrude Reames. In 1935 Jerauld graduated from East High School in Des Moines, Iowa. On January 19, 1935 in Bethany, Missouri he was united in marriage to Wilma C. (Exline) Fulton. One child was born into that union. In 1943, Jerauld entered the U.S. Navy where he served aboard the U.S.S. Yorktown and was honorably discharged in 1945. After he finished serving his country he did a variety of things from operating carpet and furniture stores to operating apartment complexes to being a construction inspector. In 1982, Jerauld finally retired at the age of 66. After retiring Jerauld became a very active member in the community. He was the director of the Shell Knob Civil Defense, the Senior Commander at the VFW of Shell Knob, he was the Vice President of the Shell Knob Alliance of Churches, and also a member of the Child Advocacy Council of Barry County, Missouri. Jerauld was a member of the Grace Community Fellowship Church of Shell Knob, Missouri. Jerauld was preceded in death by his wife of 73 years, Wilma C. Fulton and his parents Ray and Gertrude Fulton. He was the son of Jeston Creed Fulton and Jessie Lee (Porter) Fulton and had one brother, Howard L. Fulton. Lynn went to Cassville High School during which time he worked at his father's gas station and met the love of his life at Crow's Restaurant. Lynn and Phyllis Marie Bothwell were married on February 12, 1966. He was a devoted husband, business man and enjoyed his family and friends. He worked and owned Fulton Sanitation in N.W. Arkansas for almost 30 years. He sold his company in 1995 and started Fulton Properties. One grandson passed away in 2015, Jason M. Fulton. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 A.M. She was united in marriage to Jerould Fulton in Bethany on Jan. 19, 1935. She worked various jobs throughout her life, the most recent being a bookkeeper for the Polk County Treasurer's office in Des Moines, Iowa. She and her husband, Jerould, moved to Shell Knob in 1980 to make their home. She was a member of the Grace Community Fellowship Church in Shell Knob. Survivors include: her husband of 73 years, Jerould Fulton, of Shell Knob. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Hubert Exline. He was the son of Ralph B. and Vivian F. (Rose) Funcannon. On June 30, 1949, in Peoria, Illinois, he was united in marriage to Joanne Marie Woosley. Preceding him in death were his parents and one sister, Connie Misner. He grew up in Illinois and was a 1948 graduate of Woodruff High School. He served in the Air National Guard. Throughout his life he had resided in Washington, Indiana and Illinois. For thirty-three years he was employed with Caterpillar Tractor as an electrician, retiring in 1980. In 1981, he moved to Cassville to make his home. Cotton served as a Boy Scout Leader, was a little league and pony league coach, upward basketball coach and was a Christian clown.
