This was for mostly Shrine members, but Pearl went over and beyond, if she heard of a person in the hospital from Shell Knob, she would make sure they received their "Get Well" wishes. One of her favorite daily rituals was having a cup of extremely hot tea in the morning and at 4 pm-a tradition she brought with her from England. Pearl loved teaching her children and great-grandchildren to swim, and always worried about their safety in the water. She enjoyed picking fresh blueberries and blackberries, and never turned down a strawberry shake or waffles with strawberries and whipped cream on top. Christmas was one of her favorite holidays, where she ensured everyone had something to unwrap and spent the day laughing, eating, and sharing hugs with loved ones. Pearl also loved writing letters to family and friends, sending cards for birthdays and Christmas, and enjoyed shopping a little too much at times. Those left to cherish their memories of Pearl are her children: Jane Willis of Shell Knob MO., John Litzsinger (Randie) of Republic MO., James Litzsinger (Bernie) of Shell Knob MO., Jennifer Moore (Ron Jester) of Shell Knob MO., Judy Hedden (Stuart) of Nemo MO. and Joseph Litzsinger (Robert Barker) of Palmetto FL. Seventeen grandchildren and countless great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. She is preceded in death by her husband Gordon Litzsinger and her parents George and Alice Andrews. Burial in Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Springfield. | Shell Knob Funeral Home L.
