Text | Bryce Banks, 85, of Powell, died Tuesday, April 18, 2006, at Northwest Medical Center of Benton County in Bentonville, Ark. He was born Sept. 30, 1920, in McDonald County to Lott Gilbert Banks and Rilda Caroline Mahurin Banks. He was a lifelong resident of this area. He worked for the CC Camp in 1935, was a farmer and retired from Gold Kist Processing Plant. He was a Baptist. He was preceded in death by his wife, Virble Fletcher Banks; four sisters, Hazel Schrader, Edith Wade, Maggie Woodard and Mae Laughlin; and four brothers, Floyd Banks, Denver Banks, Jay Banks and Armon Banks. Survivors include: two daughters, two sisters, two brothers, both of Washburn, three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. Graveside services were held Friday at Dent Cemetery, north of Pea Ridge, with Pastor Al Fowler officiating. |
