| Text | Virble Banks, 72, Washburn, died Jan. 27, at St. Mary Rogers Memorial Hospital, Rogers, Ark., after an illness. Mrs. Banks was born Aug. 17, 1923, in Washburn, where she lived all her life. She attended Cormus Grove School, near Washburn. She worked for Gold Kiss Poultry Co., Bentonville, Ark. and was a homemaker. She married Bryce Banks on Feb. 10, 1938 at McDonald County. He survives. Additional survivors include two daughters, Zelda Horton, Pea Ridge, Ark., and Betty Patterson, Powell; a brother, Kenneth Fletcher, Grove, Okla.; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Services were held Jan. 30, at Fohn Funeral home, Cassville. Pastor Al Fowler officiated. Burial was in Dent Cemetery, Washburn. |
