| Text | Rilda, daughter of William and Ellen Mahurin, was born in Barry County, Mo., on May 17, 1888 and passed away at her home on August 18, 1960 at the age of 72 years, three months and one day. She was united in marriage to Lott Banks on April 8, 1905 at Powell, Mo., and to this union 13 children were born. Surviving are her husband, six daughters and seven sons, Mrs. Chester Schrader and Mrs. Ross Wade, both of Washburn; Mrs. Austin Woodard of Pineville; Mrs. Chester Woodard of Jane; Mrs. Pete Laughlin of Pea Ridge, Ark., and Mrs. Evert Antle of Exeter; Floyd, Denver, Jay, Brice, Vernon, Armon and Ed Banks, all of Washburn. Also 36 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and many other relatives and friends will mourn her passing. Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, August 20, at Dent Cemetery by the Rev. Chas. Vanzandt with burial in Dent Cemetery under direction of Culvers. |
