Researching my great great great grandfather Lewis HAGEWOOD.
Lewis is listed in the 1850 census in Macon County as being 54 years old and was born in North Carolina. Living with him is his future wife Jemima Teter although the last name says HAGEWOOD (they married in 1851).
Also living in the household are:
John HAGEWOOD, 17
Sarah HAGEWOOD, 16
Issac HAGEWOOD, 13
Benjamin HAGEWOOD, 8
William HAGEWOOD, 6
At the time of the census Jemima was only 28, so I doubt the older children are hers.
I'm looking to establish the mother of these children.
Any new information about this family, about the factory or about Willseyville in general is appreciated.

Jesse married Maude Mindy GREENE ~1905 in Kansas.
Children:

Jesse died 27 June 1908 in ghastly wheat thrasher steam explosion in Belle Plaine, Kansas.

My grandfather, Harvey Louis KLEIN, was born in New Cambria in 1888. He used to tell me how he had attended school in a little one room schoolhouse.
Do you know if there are any photos of that school?
I recently acquired a land grant map as his mother, Mary Lucinda ARNOLD initially bought 160 acres of land (1883) and acquired another 20 by 1897.
I wondered if there were any photos of the students at the school.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks for stopping by!
