WOODSON - I'm looking for information on Jackson WOODSON b. Abt. 1820 VA d. Abt. 1847 MO
(possibly Lincoln County). I know that he was in the area 1840-46 and that he died
1846-50. After his death, his children, Henry, Marion Jefferson and Mary E. went to live
with William Woodson in Pike Co., MO. There were several Woodson families living in the
central Missouri area at this time, but I can't find any reference to a Jackson.
MONEY - I'm looking for information on Joseph L. MONEY. He was born in Ohio in 1835 and
was living in central Missouri (possibly Lincoln Co.)by at least 1858.

1808. He married Sophia Jane ALEXANDER ca 1836, and d. in 1859, in Memphis, Scotland Co

1842. In November of 1843, he married Nancy SIMMONS there. They had two children, William
Henry ( md. 1866 Tennessee BARNES), and Thomas B. (who died in the Civil War). By 1850,
Nancy remarried to William James Kinion. Thomas died before the census of 1850, and left
no will, so I have no idea where he was from. Nancy was born abt 1815 in Virginia.

FRY. DeWitt was born in Calhoun County, Ill on 3/31/1858. Lewellen was born in Missouri in
1877. They were married about 1893 and had 12 children. In 1900 and 1910, DeWitt and his
family were on the Calhoun County, Illinois census. They moved to Elsberry, Lincoln
County, Missouri about 1918 where he was a fisherman until his death in Lincoln County on

Am trying to locate a cemetery that over looks the Quiver River. Am trying to find the
grave of Charles F. Loehring. And all I have to go by is that he was buried in a county
cemetery N. of St. Louis that over looks the Quiver River. He lived in Wellsville, Mo. But
when his wife died he left. He had to be taken care of, he was in a wheel chair. We are

I am doing some research on KEETON from Lincoln County, Mo. Surname Research My
father Andrew Keeton was born there on 22/March/1908. I have his father Philip Sheridan as
being born in Baytown(now Mozier) across the river. My primary problem is Sherwood
Keeton(father of Philip Sheridan) I can't find any documented papers on him. Philip

I am researching HANS SMITH (SCHMITZ, originally), a Hollander. Shortly after he married
NANCY OWENS in Bourbon Co., Ky., he moved to Clay Co., Ky. They lived there only briefly.
In 1830, they moved to Lincoln Co., MO. Nancy Owens was of Welsh decendant. Her line can
be traced back to King of all Wales, HYWEL_DDA. HANS SMITH represented the County of
Lincoln MO. both in the Lower House, and the Upper House for 14 yrs. He owned a farm and a
distrillery.For 2 yrs. he was General Commander of the state militia. He moved to Crawford
Co., Ar. in 1842, and represented that county inm the state Senate for four years. In
1846, he moved to what was then NAVARRO CO. TX.. Would be interested in finding out where
he was born, and who his parents were. He MAY have come from PA>?? Any help would be

I am searching for nay information on the above families. JAMES REUBEN BONDURANT (Born
1836 near Danville, VA) lived in Lincoln Co. from ca1870-1885 in the Snow Hill area.He
first married SARAH FINLEY ca1863, who was from the Springfield Mo. area. At least three
children were born: JOHN NEWTON, ANNA, JAMES TOLBERT (MY GRANDFATHER), and possibly SARAH
E who married B S SMITH in October 1881 in Lincoln Co.Sarah died ca1876 and JAMES then
married MARY TILLER PARSONS in January 1877 in ST CHARLES, CO. The family lived in lincoln
Co. until OCTOBER 1885 when they sold their land to George BLACKMORE. The land was
originally purchased from W A DOWNING AND WIFE IN 1875. JAMES is listed as serving in the
8TH MO CAV CONFEDERATE ARMY But I can't locate his military records.This is possibly the
same J R BONDURANT living in Pulaski Co. in the 1860 CENSUS. The family moved to Texas
andthen into Indian Territory where they wer living in 1890. James died in 1917 in
WYNNEWOOD, OK.
