Barry County Residents
Who Were Murdered by
Bushwhackers

Each person's name can have as many stories linked to it as need be and names can be listed without a story linked to it. If you find something to add to the data we have then be sure and submit it to our files.

Sometimes these old stories may differ a bit from family to family so it's important to capture as many of them as we can.

Please help us preserve this part of our Barry County history by submitting your story or some other form of data that documents a person who died at the hands of a bushwhacker.

Tip: Some places to look for names of people who were killed by bushwhackers are: old newspapers items, Goodspeed's History, family stories or family history books.

If you would like to submit Bushwhacker Deaths and Stories contact the County Coordinator.
