| Headline | FUNERAL TODAY FOR MISS HILDA COPE |
| Text | Funeral services will be held today at 2 p.m. in the Scholten Church of Christ for Miss Hilda Cope, sister of Gale Cope of Cassville, who died at 11:00 p.m. Sunday, June 23, in Burge Protestant Hospital in Springfield of an apparent heart attack. Miss Cope, 54, of 828 South Avenue, Springfield, had formerly lived near Crane. Survivors include five other brothers; Glen Cope of Jenkins, Bud Cope of Springfield, Bill of Long Beach, Calif., George of Tehachapi, Calif., and Chester of Kansas City, Kans., and three sisters; Mrs. Jess Hancock, Moro, Ill., Mrs. Hugh Parks and Mrs. Milford Eaton of Springfield. Burial will be at Mars Hill Cemetery under the direction of Manlove of Crane. |
