| Text | Marie Adeline Chadd, 90, Washburn, died Wednesday, Sept. 6, 1995, at a nursing home in Cassville after a long illness. Mrs. Chadd was born Jan. 24, 1905, at Joplin. She was a longtime resident of the Washburn area. She was a homemaker and a member of Mr. Zion Baptist Church, Washburn. She married Troy Chadd on Dec. 23, 1921 in Washburn. He died in 1971. Survivors include three sons, Don Chadd, Cassville, Bob Chadd, Exeter, and Howard Chadd, Haysville, Kan,; a daughter, Betty Hall, Washburn; a sister, Virginia McNabb, Exeter; eight grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. Graveside services were Saturday at Washburn Prairie Cemetery, Tom Cassady officiated. Arrangements were under the direction of Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home, Monett. |
