| Text | Don R. Chadd, Sr., 67, of Cassville, died December 25 at Cox Medical Center South in Springfield. Mr. Chadd was born September 25, 1938, in Washburn, the son of Troy and Marie Elgin Chadd. He was a retired funeral director and construction worker. He was a Baptist. He married Leta Reed on May 9, 1959, in Seligman, and she survives.
Additional survivors include one daughter, Alessa Joseph of Miami, Oklahoma; one son, Donnie Chadd of Exeter; one brother, Bob Chadd of Exeter; and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Howard and Clifford Chadd; and one sister, Betty Hall. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. tomorrow, December 28, at Oak Hill Cemetery in Cassville with Rev. John Duncan and Rev. Jerry Yarnall officiating under the direction of Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home of Monett. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today, December 27, at the First Baptist Church in Cassville. |
