Text | Ewing Grant Bugg, an old time and highly respected citizen of this city passed away at his home in the city Wednesday morning. For the past year of so, Mr. Bugg had been ill with heart ailments. He was born in Crittenden county, Kentucky, Dec. 15, 1854. he was married to his splendid wife, Fanny Henry, Nov. 21, 1893 to which union one child was born Mrs. W.D. Koon of this city. He came to Missouri in 1914, since which time he has made his home in Cassville, where he operated a monument works. He was a member of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church, his membership being in his home town in Kentucky. He was a member of Eastern Star and Masonic lodge and was well and favorably known throughout this section. Funeral services will be held at the family home in this city, Friday afternoon, April 4 at 2: 30 p.m. Interment will be made in Oak Hill cemetery under the direction of Blankenship Undertaking Co., of Purdy. Mr. Bugg was a splendid citizen and enjoyed the respect and confidence of all his acquaintances. The Democrat joins the many friends of the family in extending sympathy in their sad hour.
