Mrs. Joseph A. Breece, for many years a Monett resident, died at 5:30 this morning in St. John’s Hospital in Springfield after an illness of six months. Born in Pierce City, Mrs. Breece was married in 1903 to Joseph A. Breece in Monett. He was a Frisco conductor and died in January of 1932. Mrs. Breece has lived at 302 Euclid street in Monett since 1919. A member of the First Methodist Church, Mrs. Breece is survived by a daughter, Fern of Springfield; three brothers, Alvis and Charles Woolsey of Monett and Claude Woolsey of Little Rock; one sister, Mrs. J. L. Jeffries of Monett, and several nieces and nephews, a nephew who is attending the University of Missouri in Columbia, will attend the funeral. Services will be at 2:30 Monday afternoon in the Mercer Chapel. Burial will be in the IOOF cemetery under the direction of the Mercer Funeral |
