| Text | Services for Mrs. Ellen Banks, 70, Washburn route 1, who died at 8:25 p.m. Thursday at St. Mary's Hospital, Rogers Ark., following a sudden illness, will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Williamson Chapel in Cassville. The Rev. Perry Hickman will officiate. Burial will be in Dent Cemetery, southwest of Washburn. The body will lie in state from 4 p.m. today to the funeral hour at the funeral home where the family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. today. Mrs. Banks was born Sept. 21, 1913, at Washburn and was a lifelong resident of the town. She was a member of the Pentecostal Church. She married Denver Banks on Aug. 15, 1929, at Washburn. He survives. Also surviving are a son, Glen Banks, Washburn; a brother, Harold Fletcher, Washburn; a sister, Mrs. Cassie Pendergraft, Granby, six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. |
