HICKOX, Richard D. | Aug. 1, 1808 | July 4, 1901 Washburn, Barry Co., MO |
Research Note: There is a problem with the death date. Richard's cemetery stone at Washburn Prairie reads R. D. Hickox, Aug. 1, 1808 - July 4, 1901. Since this notice of his death was published in 1914, there has to be a mistake in the death date that was recorded on the stone, because his birth date is the same as given in 1900 on the census and so it appears to be correct. His death date according to the paper was June 8, 1914. However, Richard is not with Oscar in the 1910 Census.
