She died Jan. 3, 1916. - Obit: Mrs. Hall of near Eagle Rock. Passed away Jan. 3, 1916. She was the wife of Elisha Hall, who died about a year ago, and the mother of Rev. Carter, Mrs. Reading, and Mrs. Couch. All of Eagle Rock. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Beck and the body was laid to rest in the Munsey Cemetery, in the presence of a host of friends and relatives, who mourn her loss. - Elizabeth Ferguson was the daughter of James Leroy and Lucille "Lucy" (Wagner) Ferguson. She was born 1837. Her father was born in Georgia, Dec. 12, 1812, died in Grandview, Carroll, Co., AR, April. 6, 1899. Mrs. Reading, was "Mollie" Mary Emmaline Danley born July 10, 1864 in Green Co., MO. M. Henry Wilburn Reading who was born Aug. 19, 1861, in Quincy, IL, Oct. 27, 1884, Barry Co. Mollie died Oct. 29, 1950. Mrs. Couch, was Margaret Smith. She was the youngest child of Elizabeth. Another one of her daughters married Arthur Reading, and they moved to CA. Jaggears second married Martha L. DeJarnette on Sept. 20, 1874 in Lafayette Co., MS. He had 13 children, including John Marion Jaggers (my G grandfather) and Robert Edwin Jagears of Barry Co. G. Consumption was the cause of her death. She had a wide acquaintance and was one of the most highly respected of women. She will be greatly missed in this community and the people of Munsey extend their sympathy to the bereaved family and relatives. Research Note: William was born May 1888, according to the 1900 census, and was a son of George and Mary (Scroggins) Knee. Darla's Note: Cassville Republican Date August 22, 1901, Thursday - One of the saddest accidents that has happened in this neighborhood occurred Friday, George Parish's little stepson was plowing a single horse which became frightened at something and jerked the little fellow off the ground and the second jump the boy's head struck a stump, killing him instantly. The lines were around his waist which caused the horse to drag the helpless boy about one hundred yards. Burial took place Saturday at the Munsey Cemetery. - Freeman Knee, 14 year old son of Mr. and Mrs George Parish residing near Eagle Rock was killed last Friday. The boy was plowing ground for a turnip patch and had the lines around his waist. Some one drove past the field and the horses became frightened. The boy was thrown to the ground and the lines were made fast under his arms. She leaves a husband, father, mother, two sisters, and two brothers and a host of friends to mourn her death. The funeral services were conducted on the 25th, by Rev. Will Ireland of Cassville in the presences of a large number of the deceased's friends and neighbors.
