The land where this cemetery is has been in the Eubanks Family for many generations. Nora Eden visited with the family in October 1997 and soon after returning home Mrs. Eubanks mailed an old transcription to Nora. Nora combined that transcription with photo evidence and as of May 2002.

Known Burials A - Z         Unknowns by Nora Eden

Betty (Potter) Eubanks said that there is a legend that I have of old man Jenkins -- The location for him isn't all there. He did come there at the mouth of Jenkins creek and flat creek which is at the east side of Jenkins. He moved west from there on account of floods and build a house near or a little southwest of what is now the Potter cemetery.
