NOTES FROM THE PRESIDENT: When the Webster County Historical Society acquired the former Carnegie Library building in 1997, they established
goals to meet in order to collect and preserve the history of Webster County. These goals were planned to be
accomplished by using the former library building for a museum to display items, pictures, documents, and newspaper
accounts of the past history of our county. |

In addition to the many assorted items available, including the limited-edition ornaments and Jerry Rice prints, we also have reprinted copies of the 1880 Marshfield and Her Cyclone, 1880 Goodspeed, 1955 History of Webster County, and an Index to the afore-mentioned books. These books are soft-backed, spiral-bound and sell for $10.00 each. A new item is the 1909 Plat Map of Webster County which is indexed and sells for $7.00.
