I am searching for information on my husband's grandmother, Irene Mae Faulknor, born in Metz, MO on 21 Dec 1894. Her father was James Melvin Faulknor and mother, Margaret Elizabeth (Maggie) Miller. I believe her father was a mechanic, according to his death certificate. I do not know how long the family lived in Missouri. I do know that by 1916 they had moved to Louisiana. I would appreciate any assistance you can offer.

Seeking information about Irvin Dwight (Major) Wright b. 5/27/1830 in Hocking OH, m. Rhoda Gordon (Gorden), and their children, Lilley or Lilly, Van N., Edward and Minnie. They lived in Walker, Vernon County MO, in the early 1900's and perhaps some years earlier. (Prior to that time, they were in Polk Co.) Also hoping to learn more about the Downing family found in Walker in the 1870 census. William and Barbara were the parents, their sons were Hiram b. 1871 and Leonard b. 1868. William Downing, b. 1866, lived with them but is said to have been a cousin. Looking for a marriage record for Lilley Wright, who may have been married to one of the Downing boys in 1895 or 1896. Lilley had a son, Wright Downing, who was b. in 1897. Lilley died in 1899 and Wright was raised by her family. Any info would be appreciated.

I am researching Joseph JOURNEY who was born about January 1850 in Missouri to Angus L. JOURNEY and Elizabeth COLLINS. He is with his parents in the 1850 census at St. Charles Co., MO and in the 1860 at Center Twp, Vernon Co., MO but disappears after that.

Did he die young and was he buried in Vernon Co., MO or did he leave the area? Did he marry?

Surnames: Watson, DeForrest

John Charles Watson (aka DeForrest) was my great-great grandfather. I have been searching for his final resting place and found the Vernon County Cemetery site. Your table shows two Watsons. I would like more information about these folks. My relative was born in Kentucky in 1830, lived most of his life in Stone County, MO and died sometime after 1903. I have reason to believe that he was in the Nevada, MO area at that time.
