John Sullivan was the son of Dennis Sullivan and Mary Reidy. From 1900 through 1930, according to census records, the family lived in Nevada, Vernon County. John died between 1930 and March of 1938. His wife's name was Carrie Hunter.
Children were Mary, b. 1883, married an Edward Fraise
George, b. 1885
John Lester, b. 1888
Joseph Arnold, b 1891 Wife's maiden name I believe was Stukebury (sp)
Agnes, 1894
Because the family was Catholic, I'm hoping that they were buried in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Center Twp.
I believe John Lester served in WW I.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Sincerely,
Mary Blanche Sullivan

Jabez North Steele and wife, Rachel Jayne Frazier. Their youngest son, Henry Edgar Steele, was born in Nevada, Vernon Co., Missouri in 1879. Jabez Steele was born in 1831 and, I believe, moved to Vernon Co. between 1870 and 1880. He was still living in 1896.
Also researching Charles Steele, son of Jabez North Steele, and Phoebe Harole. He was a doctor in Vernon Co. He was born about 1853 and died in 1934. He is buried at Stotesbury.
