I am searching for information on the Abraham (1834) and Josephine (1840) Meadows family 1849-1900? They lived in Dry Wood, Vernon Co., MO and had 10 children: John (1861), Delilah (1864), Mary L. (1866), E.D. girl (1869), H.J. boy (1871), James M. (1873), W.L. son (1875), Twin girls, J.H. and E.P.H. (1877) and M. girl (1879) all according to the 1880 Census records. I have found information about the family in the 1860 & 1870 Census, but have lost the trail in the 1900 Census.
I have found some information on John, Delilah (my great grandmother), and James M. which may or may not be accurate. Any information would be appreciated. I believe John died in 1880. Delilah married William H. Mayfield in 1884 and had four children, Ernest K., Estella, Austin E. and Bruce. They lived in Moreau, Moniteau Co., MO, and eventually moved to Iola, Kansas. Thanks for any help. My mail address is 1606 Harrison Avenue #4, Wilmington, DE 19809

I am looking for any information of P.P. PREWETT that married ELIZABETH BELLGREW(actually spelled Bedegrew) on 1/5/1876 in Vernon County, Mo. according to their marriage license. Elizabeth lived just across the State line in Ft. Scott, Kansas.
There are several Prewett and Prewitt families in Vernon Co., Mo about that time but I cannot put P.P. Prewett with them. I don't even know what the initials stand for.
He is my great great grandfather and by 1880 I totally lose him. At that time Elizabeth and his daughter, Ada V. Prewett (my great grandmother, B: 11/15/1877) are living with her parents and siblings in Kansas with no mention of P.P. Prewett.
