WILLIAM ROBERT EDWARDS

This is a photograph of William Robert Edwards and his wife, Nancy Jane Jobe Edwards.  This is probably a wedding picture taken in Cedar County about 1871.  William Edwards was the son of Horatio N. Edwards and Elizabeth Dillingham Edwards.  He died at his home one mile east of Warwick in Dover Township, Vernon County, Missouri on December 17, 1887, after becoming ill while digging a well. He was 37 years old. His children were Bell Edwards Wickliff and Jesse L. Edwards. Nancy Jobe Edwards was said to have died about 1880.
