Sarah Ellen Maxwell Wilson, daughter of Sam and Elizabeth Maxwell, was born near Huggins, Mo., March 16, 1871 and departed this life November 16, 1950 at the age of 79 years and 8 months.  she was united in marriage to Ragain Wilson September 12, 1890.  To this union were born three sons and three daughters who survive:  Edward of Portland Oregon, Tom of Jena La. and Lawrence of Good Pine La.; Minerva Lindstrom of McPherson Kansas, Martha of the home and Myrtle Wade of Mountain Grove Mo.  Also surviving is one sister Mrs. Alice Wilson of Willow Springs, Mo.  Ragain Wilson passed away October 17, 1942.  At the early age of 16, she accepted the Lord as her personal Savior and united with the No. 1 Methodist Church and lived a Christian life, true to her faith throughout the years.  Funeral services were conducted at the No. 1 Church, near Huggins Mo., the Rev. George Scott of Mountain Grove officiating.  Music was furnished by a quartet composed of:  Carl Ward, Lynn Francis, Everett Burch and Lee Bressler, with Mrs. Lynn Francis at the piano.  Interment followed in nearby Union Cemetery under direction of the Elliott Funeral Home of Cabool.
