Ben Oliver Sanders, son of Lewis and Martha Sanders, was born near Mountain Grove, November 30, 1880 and departed this life September 2, 1950 at the age of 69 years, 9 months and 2 days.  He was converted at an early age and lived a Christian life.  He was married to Sarah Willoughby January 5, 1908.  To this union once child was born.  Both preceded him in death.  On October 5, 1928 he was married to Rosa Gebhart and since has spent his entire life in and near Mountain Grove.  He is survived by his wife, Rosa; one step-daughter Mrs. Chester Rhodes; 5 brothers, Oscar of Houston MO, Arthur, Lou, Hub and Pete all of Mountain Grove; a sister Alice Jarrett of Peqot Lakes, Minnesota.  Funeral services were held Wednesday September 6, 1950 at 2:00 p. m. from the Grable-Windle Chapel conducted by Rev. F. J. Light.  A quartet composed of Everett Burch, Anna Burch, Vernon Graven and Boss Branson sang "No Tears In Heaven", "He Whispers Sweet Peace to Me" and "Precious Memories" accompanied by Mabel Stillwell.  Burial was in Stubbs Cemetery.
