Mrs. Mary Angeline Oxley, wife of Joe Preston Oxley, passed away at her home Sunday evening at 7 o'clock at the age of 80 years, 4 months and 12 days.  Mrs. Oxley had lived in Wright or Texas county all her life.  She was born in Wright County and married in Texas County 60 years ago to Joe Oxley in the home where they had since lived.  Mrs. Oxley was a charter member of the Mount Zion Christian Church.  She was one of the few that stated the little church.  She leaves to mourn her going: her husband; one son Tom Oxley of near the home; three daughters Lucy Vance of Manes, Cora Hagen of Excelsior Springs, and Anna Troxel of Wichita, KS.  Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Mount Zion Church with burial in Stubbs Cemetery under direction of Barber Funeral Home.
