Easter Lemae Mace Easter Lemae Mace, 69, daughter of John Andrew Lawson and Nora Mezo Lawson was born April 6, 1919 at Hazelton, Missouri and died November 17, 1988 in Houston, Missouri following a long illness. She is survived by 6 daughters, Betty Kirkwood, Mtn. Grove, Mo; Phyllis Mace, Roby, Missouri; Barbara Kieran, Knoxville, Tennessee; Virginia Kimrey. Las Vegas, Nevada; Cindy Rife, Danville, Illinois; Karen Mace, Roby, Missouri; two sons; Ronald Jackson, St. Clair, Mo; Norman Jackson, Licking, Mo; 3 sisters, Bertha Wilson, Walla Walla, Washington; Florence Jackson, Licking, Mo; Nellie Neal, Roby, Mo; 13 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, other relatives and many friends made throughout out the years. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband J. W. Mace, two brothers, Willie and Frank Lawson, two sisters, Agness and Martha Blankenship, a daughter, Faye Jackson, 1 granddaughter, and 1 great grandson. Easter spent much of her life in the Roby community. She had many interests in life, enjoying the simple things, Gods nature, the beauties of the out doors. She gave of herself to those around her, she enjoyed helping others, but perhaps she was happiest having her family around her, giving of her self to those she loved. She was converted at an early age, and was faithful in her attendance at the Roby Assembly of God Church, as long as her health permitted. She will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her. Services were held a 2 p.m. Sat., Nov. 19, at the Roby Assembly of God Church with Rev. Carl Hancock officiating. Burial was in the Craddock Cemetery under the direction of Evans Funeral Home.
