Andrew Franklin Lawson was born September 23, 1913 at Hazelton, Mo. departed this life on January 29, 1976 in the Veterans Hospital at Columbia, MO., making his age at time of death 62 years, 4 months and 6 days. He was united in marriage to Susan Robison of Kansas City, Mo., on April 20, 1948. To this union no children were born. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and one brother. Surviving are his wife, Susan; 4 sisters, Bertha Peterson of Yakima, Wash., Eater Mace and Nellie Neal both of Roby, Mo., Florence Jackson of Licking, Mo., and a host of nephews, nieces and many friends. Frank faithfully served his country in World War II. Serving his full term in Germany. He was a good soldier, a wonderful husband, brother, uncle and neighbor, always willing to lend a helping hand where ever needed. He was good natured and very jolly, was liked by all who knew him. He spent most of his life in Texas County living about 12 years in Success. Was a hard worker as long as his health permitted, working mostly at saw mills. He loved the great outdoors and enjoyed hunting and fishing in his earlier life. He was converted about a year ago then [his] interest and past time was reading his Bible and talking of his Saviour. He will be sadly missed by all his relatives and friends. Funeral services were held Monday, February 2 at 10:00 A.M. in the Pentecostal Holiness Church with Rev. Curtis Yarnell Officiating. Interment in Craddock Cemetery under the direction Fox-Smith-Ferguson Funeral Home. We want to thank all our friends for the food, flowers and other kindness shown us after the death of our loved one, husband and brother. God bless each one. A special thanks to the pallbearers and to Don and Ann Fox for their wonderful service and other help and concern. May God richly bless each one. The Family of Frank Lawson.
