Margaret Adaline Murr, daughter of James and Ellen Murr, was born September 6, 1862 and departed this life May 18, 1944 making her age at time of death 81 years, 8 months and 12 days.  She was united in marriage in 1877 to Ebeneezer Throgmartin.  To this union one son was born.  Her husband preceded her in death in 1879.  She was again united in marriage to William Adams, March 6, 1881.  He also preceded her in death August 7, 1923.  She was again married to S. R. Hilsabeck of Dawson, Mo., who survives her.  She was converted early in life, and united with the Freewill Baptist Church of which she was a member at the time of her death.  She is also survived by her son, Lee Throgmartin of Upton, Missouri, four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, one sister Mrs. Sarah Coffman of Waukee, Iowa, two half sisters, Mrs. Ellen Evans of Eunice and Mrs. Dorcas Coffman of Mountain Grove, one half brother, Jack Murr address unknown and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her loss.

Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Elmer Snyder at the Hickory Ridge Cemetery on Saturday, May 20, 1944.
