Died at her home, two and one-half miles west of Licking, Wednesday, January 8 (or 9), Mrs Palestine Atkisson, wife of L J Atkisson, brother of our townsman, S E Atkisson. Mrs Atkisson was a member of the Christian Church and was a faithful and beloved wife and mother whose death leaves an irreparable sorrow in the hearts of husband and children. Five children are left to mourn with the husband the loss of a devoted mother and wife. The burial took place at the Keeney Cemetery Thursday in the presence of a large number of sorrowing relatives and friends.
