Elizabeth Philibert Moore

Pictured above is Elizabeth Philibert Moore, granddaughter of C.E. Philibert. The year the photo was taken is not known.

The photos were sent to us by Jim Riddle, grandson of William Simmons Moore, great-grandson of Elizabeth Philibert Moore, and ggg-grandson of C.E. Philibert.

According to Jim, "W. S. Moore was born in 1890 and left Stone County in 1903 on horseback, not in the good graces of his family, to farm with his brother Johnny in Indian Territory.  He married Edna Macomb in 1914, and they settled in Wagoner County, mailing address Porter.  The Macombs had come to Indian Territory from Illinois in the mid 1800's, then were shooed out to make room for the Indians, lived in Arkansas a while, and moved back in  to Northeast Oklahoma."

Elizabeth Philibert Moore with her grandchildren including from left: Beulah Mae Moore, Eula Fae Moore, Ruby Moore (Culver), and Marjorie Faye Moore (Riddle).  Marjorie (mother of Jim Riddle), was born 1920; Ruby was born 1924; Beulah and Eula are their cousins, both daughters of Johnny Moore.
