This photo of the Nash Shoe Shop was taken around 1930.  Shortly after the picture was taken the shop was destroyed by fire.  Pictured from left:  Francis Jefferson Nash, born Feburary 10, 1894-died May 21 1957 in California; Peter W. Bilyeu, born 1871; and Amy (Bilyeu) Nash, born May 29, 1901 in Coonridge, Missouri-died May 20, 1964 in California.

Peter Bilyeu also ran a watch repair shop.  According to Pama's mother the table in the shoe shop was solid metal, and the only person who was able to get it out of the shop after the fire was Amy (Bilyeu) Nash.  Pama is the great-granddaughter of Peter Bilyeu and granddaughter of Francis and Amy Nash.
