JOHN & JENNIE MEEK   John and Jennie Meek were from Tennessee.  They lived in Arkansas and Texas, and were in Flat Creek Township, Stone County, Missouri by 1870.  They were  listed on the 1870 Stone County Federal Census along with some of their children, including: Harriett (Meek) Harper, Thomas J. Meek, Squire Meek, Mary J. Meek, Jack Alma (aka Jackoline) Meek, and William Meek. Two of their known children, Elizabeth and Jeremiah were not listed in the Flat Creek Township census in that immediate area. The photo, courtesy of  Kathyrn Newburn, (gg-granddaugter of Squire Meek) was sent to her by a descendant of Jackoline Meek. Kathyrn is the daughter of Ethel Lee Rogers of Galena, Missouri.
