team of 1938-39. Clell Spradling was the Coach. Players pictured are: Adrian
Butler - #5, Elmer White - #8, Dean Wampler - #4, Nelson Holt - #6, Vernon
Mease - #3, G. R. Hughes - # 4, Herman Quick - #2, Hardy Carr - #7, Earl
Henderson - #6, Willard Cross - #9.
Note that there are two #4s and two #6s - but who is who?
According to Shannon Butler Ventuleth her father, Adrian
Butler, played Right Guard and Forward. Shannon would like to know the
