UPDATE
Note from Jo Dunne: I looked
at this photo and had the feeling that it was taken in a part of the Dickerson
Park - Zoo in Springfield, Missouri. After receiving emails from
Dan Spellman and Aileene (Tiede) Johnson who both had the same reaction
I am convinced that it is indeed the Zoo. The three of us remembered
the distinctive rock wall and the animal cages that could be viewed from
the upper level. The children in the photograph have not yet been identified.
