STONE COUNTY'S 150TH BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION

We arrived at the Galena square on Saturday, June 2, 2001 for the 150th birthday celebration of Stone County. It was a grand and glorious day! The festivities began at 9:30 a.m. and continued on into the night with all sorts of events and entertainment. The best part for us was getting to meet the people we have come to know through email. Everyone we met greeted us warmly, and made us feel as right at home. The gracious hospitality is something we will never forget.
