Odell; Brown, Somers,
Smades
I am trying to find the county in Missouri where Joseph Alfred Odell
was born . According to his marriage certificate, he was born in Missouri
in 1865, the son of Jasper Newton Odell and Mary Elizabeth Somers.
Joseph married Pelina Brown, also born in Missouri, county unknown.
Her parents were George Brown and Mary Smades. Although the
county in which Joseph and Pelina married was Richardson Co. Nebraska,
on the Missouri border, all the persons I listed were noted on the marriage
certificate, and all were in Missouri in 1860's.

Gilday/Gildey; Frye
My grandfathers name was Frederick Franklin Gilday. He was born
in Omaha, Nebraska February 1877. He was not aware of his parents name
either because he was given out for farm help or unofficially adopted.
However, I found a family ( without husband being listed ) on 1880 census,
in Douglas, Nebraska, named Gildey. they had a child of same name
and the age was just right. The census indicated that another child named
Walter was born in Missouri, and the mother also was married in Missouri.
She had her mother living with the family. Her name was Louise Frye
and her birth place was listed as Ohio. She was 66 years of age at time
of 1880 census. Unfortunately no husbands name was listed on the census
though it indicated she was married. My grandfathers mothers name was Mattey
Gildey. Thank you for any assistance in this matter.

Hall; Siler, Davis,
Perkins, Haguewood, Young
James Hall born 1821-23 in NC or Ireland ? Married Lucinda "
Nannie" last name unknown who was born 1833 in NC or Ireland they had a
daughter named Alineer/Alener/Alma D. who was born 1867 in Greensboro,

initial is a T or L or F, is very hard to decipher. Alma D. Hall
married Sylvester Siler, they were living in Mo., had a daughter
named Chloe Elizabeth born 1897 ?, Arkansas and died 1926 in Missouri.
I think Chloe had a 1/2 brother named Otto. Her sister, Ethel married someone
named Davis and was living in Ark. 1937. Another sister named Allie
married a J. W. Perkins in Mo. Chloe married Fred Haguewood
1913, whose parents were Emily C. Young and James M. Haguewood.

Wright; Bodine
I need information about the Amos and Lucetta Wright family
who are believed to have lived in Missouri when three of their children
were born, William H. - 28 Nov 1855, Charles W. - 1858, and Mary Alice
- 7 Nov 1860. Amos Wright and Lucetta Bodine were married
in Feb 1850 in Cincinnati, Ohio. Amos went to the gold fields of Calif.
and is listed in the 1850 census both in Ohio and Calif. I have been unable
to find either Lucetta in 1850 or Amos' family in the 1860 or 1870 census.
In the 1880 Mississippi census the birthplaces of William, Charles and
Mary are given as Missouri. From Missouri the family is believed to have
moved on to Indiana, Mississippi and finally Texas. Amos and Lucetta had
three other children, Edwin G., Elizabeth (Bezzie), and Harry P. They settled
in the Red River and Lamar Co., Texas area, getting there in 1884.

Dennis; Thomas,

I am searching for info on a Moses W. Dennis who was born October
15, 1850 in Monroe County, OH son of Joseph T. Dennis and Hester
Ann Johnson. Moses married Margaret Thomas on March 10, 1870
in Washington County, OH. They had three children: Ettie born in 1871,
Ervin born in 1874 and Elsworth born in 1877. Records in OH indicate only
that they moved to Missouri...do not know when, but believe it was after
1877 because the records in OH indicate that the son Elsworth was born
in VA...so assume they moved to Missouri after the birth of the child.
OH records indicate that Moses "died in Missouri in 1879".
