"Joseph P. Thompson Family."   In the 1880 US Census they were living in Washington, Nodaway County, Missouri.  In the household were the following persons:  wife Margaret, Joseph O., age 17; Jacob L., age 16; Carnelus, age 13; Sarah J Noland, age 18; and Vizona H. Noland, age 12.  He listed his occupation as a farmer.

He was living at the same location in the 1870 Census, but had additional children:  Alexander, age 21; John J., age 14, Margaret, age 12; and Ellen, age 10.  However the wife's name was Lutetia (Lower) Thompson.

Lutetia Lower Thompson died 19 February 1879, Guilford, Nodaway County.  It appears he remarries to a Margaret, maybe they would account for Sarah and Vizona Noland.

Joseph died 12 September 1885 in Guilford, Nodaway County.

Anthony Graves (Guilford) married 2nd,  Martha Lower, who appears to be the sister of Lutetia, the wife of Joseph Thompson.
