She was born October 16, 1959, in Maryville, the daughter of Eugene and Donna Crocker Frueh. She was a graduate of Maryville High School and attended Northwest Missouri State University, Maryville.
On July 30, 1983, she married Marlin Adam Stanislaus in Maryville.
Mrs. Stanislaus was a member of Prince of Peace Parish, Olathe, KS.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Survivors include her husband, Marlin, of their home in Overland Park; daughters, Danay Fast and husband, Cory, Overland Park, and Kiley Stanislaus, Maryville; mother, Donna Frueh, Maryville; brothers, sisters and their spouses, Kenny and Barb Frueh, Karla and Randy Wooten, all of Maryville, Randy and Judy Frueh, Roger and Teresa Frueh, all of Pickering; many nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Steeby, Carl M., 60, Burlington Junction [Missouri], died Monday, Feb 21, 1994 at St Francis Hospital, Maryville [Missouri].

Born in Nodaway [County, Missouri] he lived most of his life there and in Corning and Burlington Junction. He also had resided in Springdale, Ark.

He married Betty S. Palmerton, in 1953, in Savannah [Missouri].

Mr Steeby had been employed by Wilson Foods in Springdale; Missouri Beef Packers in Rock Port [Missouri]; road construction companies; and the Missouri Conservation Department. He served with the Army during the Korean War.

He was prceded in death by three brothers, Hubert, Milus and Franklin; a half brother, Richard Starr; and a half sister, Blendena Johnson.

Survivors include: his wife of the home, Bulrington Junction; three sons, Carl E. Steeby and Larry J. Steeby, both of Savannah [Missouri] and Johnny R. Steeby, Fairfax [Missouri]; three daughters, Carolyn S. Rucker, Amazonia [Missouri], Nettie R. Watson, Stewartsville [Missouri] and Sherry J. Spargen, Burlington Junction; two brothers, Larry Steeby and Lenvil Steeby, Savannah; four sisters, Mildred Gibson and Annabell McConnell, both of St Joseph, Alberta Eads, Gladstone and Thelma Dowden, Springfield; and eight grandchildren.

Visitation is currently under way at Breit & Hawkins Funeral Home, Savannah. Family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Breit & Hawkins Funeral Home, Savannah.

Steeby, Ruthie, 49, Oregon [Missouri], formerly of Mound City, died Monday, March 11, 1996, at a health-care center in Oregon.

She was born in Maryville [Missouri], November 23, 1946, the daughter of Albert Fries, Sr., and M. Nell (Prater) Fries.

She attended school in Mound City and Craig. Mrs Steeby had been a homemaker and attended the Nazarene Church in Mound City.

In October 1972, she married Fred Steeby. They were later divorced.

She was preceded in death by her father, Albert Fries, Sr.; two brothers, John and Jackie Fries and a sister, Betty Fries.

Survivors include a daughter, Melissa O'Meara, Oskaloosa, kans.; her mother, Nell Fries, Oregon; four brothers, Emmitt Fries, Dodge City, Kans., Edwin Fries, Edwards, Mo.; James Fries, kansas City, Kans., and Albert Fries, Jr., Riverside; four sisters, Beverly Gilland and Susie Nowling, both of Craig and Joyce Lueck, and Judith Dunn, both of Kansas City, Kans.; and two grandchildren.

Services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, at the Pettijohn & Crawford Funeral Home, Mound City with the Rev Dale O'Donnell officiating. Burial was in Mount Hope Cemetery, Mound City.

Pallbearers were Timmy Fries, Richard Lueck, David Nowling, Glenn Nowling, Kenton Nowling, Robert Miller, Dennis Fries, and Bennie Fries.

Steeby, Heather J., 14, Wathena, Kan., died April 6 [1992] at a St Joseph [Missouri] hospital.

Heather was born on August 3, 1977 in St Joseph [Missouri] to Otis "George" and Ellen Schultz Steeby. She was a lifelong resident of Wathena and a freshman at Wathena High School. She was a member of the Zion United Church of Christ.

Heather was preceded in death by a half-brother, Robert George Steeby in 1962.

She is survived by her parents; three sisters, Melissa, Natalie and Ashley Steeby of the home; one brother, William Steeby, of the home; two half-sisters, Rosemarie Steeby of Whittier, Calif and Lisa Smith of Wathena; one half-brother, Michael Steeby of Whittier, Calif; maternal grandparents, Mr and Mrs William Schultz of Troy, Kan.; paternal step-grandfather, Ralph Lammers of Rushville; two nieces, one nephew and numerous cousins.

Funeral services were held April 8 at the Harman Rohde Funeral Home in Wathena, with burial following at the Bellemont Cemetery.

Stuart, Amy Florence Holbrook - Amy Florence Stuart, 88, formerly of Maryville, died Sunday, June 21, 2009, at Kansas City Hospice House in Kansas City.
A kind and gentle soul, she was known as the “Official Greeter” of the Indian Meadows Nursing Center. She peacefully departed, surrounded by her family.
Mrs. Stuart was born July 8, 1920, in Clearmont, the daughter of Clarence and Amy (VanBuren) Holbrook. She was a 1940 graduate of Amity High School, College Springs, IA.
She married John Stuart, on June 1, 1949, in Clarinda, IA. A homemaker, she also worked in private homes as a caregiver.
She was a member of the Maryville Community of Faith Church, VFW Auxiliary, The Rosanna Chapter #262 of the Order of the Eastern Star, The Shepherd’s Center, The Golden Agers and Jolly Elders, all of Maryville.
Mrs. Stuart was preceded in death by: her husband, John, on April 18, 1994; her parents, and a sister: Frances Emma Holbrook.
Survivors include her son, David (Phyllis) Stuart, Springfield; her daughter, Linda (Tim) Fisher, Kansas City; a grandson, Brent Stuart, Camdenton; two great-grandsons: Jeffrey and Jason Stuart and their mother, Sarah, Mountain Grove.
Visitation is 10-11 am Friday, June 26, 2009, at Community of Faith Church, Maryville, with services at 11 am at the Community of Faith Church. Burial will be in Nodaway Memorial Gardens, Maryville.
