Randle, Omer Everett - Omer Everett Randle, 83, Sheridan, died Monday, May 25, 2009, in Maryville.
He was born December 21, 1925, near Sheridan, to William and Orlie Rowe Randle.
Funeral services were Friday, May 29, at the Sheridan Christian Church, Sheridan, with Rev. Delbert Biehle officiating. Interment was in the Luteston Cemetery near Sheridan.
Arrangements were under the direction of Prugh-Dunfee Funeral Home.

Roach, Frances Frieze - Services for Frances Roach, 72, Cherokee, Iowa, were held at 10:30 am Wednesday, May 17, 1989, at the First Baptist Church in Cherokee, with Rev John Leggett officiating.

Burial of the cremains will be in Maryville at a later date, under the direction of Greenwood Funeral Home in Cherokee, Iowa.

She was born May 30, 1917, in Maryville to Mr and Mrs William Allison Frieze. She married Porter Eugene Roach.

Roach was preceded in death by her husband and one son, Richard.

Survivors include three sons, John, Cherokee, Iowa, and James R. and Billy Dale, both of Maryville; four daughters, Mrs Marilyn Bergert and Mrs Mike (Debra) Fox, both of Cherokee, Mrs Tim (Julia) Grauer, Aurora, Colo., and Mrs Brad (Cordelia) Kintigh, Mr Pleasant, Iowa; four sisters, Mrs Evelyn Jensen, Cherokee, and Mrs Clara Mae Richey, Mrs Alsamene Pike and Mrs Gertrude Logan, all of Omaha, Neb; and 17 grandchildren. Roach, Richard E. - Richard E. Roach, Mound city [Missouri], formerly of Maryville, died Tuesday (May 28, 1985) unexpectedly at his home.

The son of Porter Eugene Roach and Frances Irene Frieze Roach, he was born Aug 13, 1946, in Maryville.

Mr Roach was owner-operator of State Theater. He had lived in Mound City seven years.

He was a 1964 graduate of Maryville High School, and he served in the Air Force 1965-68. He was a member of the Maryville First Baptist Church.

Survivors include his mother, Frances Roach, Cherokee, Iowa; three brothers, James Roach and Bill Roach, both of Maryville, and John Roach, Cherokee, Iowa; four sisters, Marilyn Bergert and Deborah Fox, both of Cherokee, Iowa, Cardelia Kintigh, Atlantic, Iowa, and Julia Grauer, Eagle River, Alaska; and aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Mr Roach was preceded in death by his father, Porter E. Roach.

Roberts, Betty Victoria Rose - Betty Victoria Roberts, 62, College Springs, IA, died Monday, June 8, 2009, at Clarinda Regional Health Center, Clarinda, IA.
She was born October 26, 1946, in Council Bluffs, IA, the daughter of Earnest Loren and Eleanor Anderson Rose.
Funeral services will be held at 1 pm, Friday, June 12, 2009, at the Presbyterian Church in College Springs with the Rev. Jim Crapson officiating. Cremation will follow the service and there will be private family inurnment held at a later date.
Visitation with the family will be held from 6 to 8 pm, Thursday, June 11, at the Presbyterian Church.

Roseler, Christina - Mrs Christina Roseler, 89 years old, died this morning at her home northeast of Clyde. Among her survivors is her son, John, who made his home with her. Funeral services will be at 9 o'clock Monday morning at the St Benedict church at Clyde.

Ruggle, Leo J. - St Joseph - Monsignor Leo J. Ruggle, 85, St Joseph, formerly of Conception [Missouri], and a former administrator of the Catholic Diocese of Kansas City - St Joseph, died Monday (July 30, 1984) in a hospital in St Joseph [Missouri].

Monsignor Ruggle was appointed pastor of the Co-Cathedral in St Joseph in 1937. He served as chancellor of the former diocese of St Joseph and was superintendent of Catholic schools in the diocese. He retired in 1964 and was pastor emeritus of the Co-Cathedral.

He attended Conception High School from 1912 - 1916. From 1916 - 1918, he attended Conception Seminary College.

On Jun 1, 1924, he was ordained into the priesthood at the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception, Conception. He celebrated his 60th year as a priest April 29, 1984.

He was spiritual director at Conception Seminary from 1968-1969.

The Mass of Resurrection will be 11 am Thursday (Aug 2, 1984) at the Co-Cathedral. Co-celebrants will be Bishop John J. Sullivan, Monsignor Charles S. Nowland, the Rev Gerald Waris and the Rev Michael Roach.

Burial is set for Mount Olivet Cemetery, St Joseph.

Visitation will be 1-9 pm today (July 31, 1984) and from 8:30 am to 4 pm. Wednesday (Aug 1, 1984). The body will be taken to the Co-Cathedral where a 7:30 pm vigil service will be conducted.

Raymond, Edrie Verna Cartwright - Edrie Verna Raymond, 89, Stanberry [Missouri], died Tuesday, Nov 8, 1994, at Pine View Manor, Stanberry.

Born Sept 30, 1905, in Doland, SD., to Raymond Harvey and Hattie May Smith Cartwright, she was a homemaker.

She married Clarence Arvel Raymond, Dec 12, 1923, at Clark, S.D.

Ms Raymond was a member of the First Baptist Church, Stanberry; the Star Homemaker Club, Stanberry; a charter member of Lafayette Worthwhile Club, Stanberry; and a former member of the Rebekah Lodge of Island City.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; one son, Ronald Raymond; two brothers, Arthur Cartwright and Harlow Cartwright; three sisters, LaVinna Elmore, Violet Thompson and Queenie Linderman.

Survivors include two daughters, Arlene Linderman of Redfield, S.D., and Wanda King of Bethany; three sons, Cecil E. Raymond of Savannah, Donald H. Raymond of Stanberry, and Thomas D. Raymond of Napoleon; 16 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 pm., Wednesday, at Johnson Funeral Home, Stanberry.

Services will be held at 1:3- pm., Thursday, at the First Baptist Church, Stanberry, with the Rev Rick Smith officiating and assisted by the Rev Russell Evans.

Burial will be in High Ridge Cemetery, Stanberry.

Frank Reeder of Hopkins, 80, died Wednesday afternoon, Dec 20 [1939] at the home of his son, Floyd Reeder in Farragut, Iowa where he was visiting.

The funeral services were held at the Methodist church in Hopkins Friday afternoon, conducted by Rev Paul Barton and burial was in the Hopkins cemetery.

Frank Reeder, Hopkins, Dies at Age of 80 Years
Frank Reeder of Hopkins, 80 years old, died at 12:30 o'clock yesterday afternoon at the home of his son, Floyd Reeder, in Farragut, Ia. Mr. Reeder had gone to his son's home for a visit.
