On this 26th day of July A.D. one thousand eight hundred and ninety -- personally appeared before me a County Clerk within and for the county and State aforesaid Ezra A. Dalrymple aged 42 years a resident of near Maryville county of Nodaway state of Missouri who, being duly sworn according to law, declares that he is the identical Ezra A. Dalrymple who was ENROLLED as a private on the 22nd day of February 1865 in Company H of the 51st Regiment of Missouri Infantry Vols., in the War of the rebellion and served at least ninety days, and was honorably DISCHARGED at Benton Barracks Mo on the 31st day of August 1865. That he is partially unalbe to earn a support by manual labor by reason of kidney and heart disease and partially disabled inthe left shoulder. That said disabilities are not due to his vicious habits, and are to the best of his knowledge and belief permanent. That he has never applied for pension under application No.---- That he makes this declaration for the purpose of being placed on the pension roll of the United States, under act of Congress approved June 27, 1890. He hereby appoints, I.E. Rubenstein, of Washington, D.C. his true and lawful attorney to prosecute his claim. That he hereby agrees to allow his said attorney a fee of $10 whent he claim is allowed. That his Post office address is Maryville county of Nodaway State of Missouri. |

DECLARATION FOR WIDOW'S PENSION |

On this 4th day of March 1929, before me, the undersigned, personally appeared Martha Dalrymple who makes the following declaration as an application for pension under the provisions of the act of Congress approved May 1, 1920. That she is 79 years of age, that she was born June 11, 1850 at State of Indiana. That she is the widow of Ezra A. Dalrymple who enlisted Feb 22nd 1865 at Maryville Mo under the name of Ezra A. Dalrymple in Company H 51st Reg of Mo Vol and was honorably discharged Aug 31st 1865 having served ninety days or more, or was discharged for, or died in service of the United States of a disability incurred in the service in the line of duty, during the CIVIL WAR and who died Feb 9th 1929 at Maryville Missouri |
That he also served in above stated. |
That she was married to said soldier August 23, 1866 under the name of Martha Blevins at Maryville Nodaway county by Rev David; that she had not been previously married, that he had not been previously married. That he left no children under the age of sixteen (at the time of his death). That she has not heretofore applied for pension, the number of her former claim being ----- that said soldier was a pensioner, the number of his pension certificate being 679,092. |
